Main Entrance is located on Yamhill St. We recommend taking MAX to the Skidmore Fountain or Oak Street/Southwest 1st Ave stations.  We strongly encourage you to take public transportation.   The VIP/Guest List Entrance is located on the east end of Salmon Springs Fountain.

What happens if it rains?

MusicfestNW is a rain or shine event.

What is MusicfestNW?

MusicfestNW is a two-day, two-stage festival featuring some of the biggest and best acts in live music. The event will be an outdoor blowout with access to both stages, food, beverages, art and more. All ages are welcome!  Each child under 8 is free when accompanied by a paying adult.

When and where is it held?

When: Saturday, August 16th & Sunday, August 17th
Where: Tom McCall Waterfront Park (SW Naito Pkwy, Portland, OR 97204)

When is the performance schedule released?

The performance schedule will be released a few weeks prior to the festival. If you want to be notified right away once the schedule is released, be sure to sign up for our mailing listArtist lineup subject to change.

How do I get to Waterfront Park?

Waterfront Park is accessible by MAX, bus, car, and bike/foot.

Where should I stay in Portland?

We suggest staying at the Hotel Lucia, it is within a short walk to the festival and offers amazing amenities.

I lost/forgot my ticket, what do I do?

What should I bring to the Festival?

  • Sunscreen
  • Hats
  • Sunglasses
  • Non-professional film and digital cameras
  • Valid Driver’s License for will-call and/or to drink alcohol
  • Comfortable footwear

The following items are prohibited:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Professional cameras & recording devices (no SLR/DSLR or cameras with detachable lenses)
  • Illegal substances
  • Outside food or drinks
  • Squirt guns, misters, spray bottles, etc
  • Laser pens and similar focused-light devices
  • Bad attitudes
  • Glowsticks
  • Chairs
  • Pets
  • Bicycles, scooters, personal motorized vehicles (bike parking will be available)
  • Musical instruments
  • Sleeping bags (no overnight camping or sleepovers)
  • Umbrellas
  • Totem poles or flag sticks
  • Walkie Talkies
  • Fake IDs – they will be confiscated and your wristband will be cut without refund.
  • No outside food or drink

Is the Festival accessible to people with disabilities?

MusicfestNW is ADA accessible/friendly.

Any tips on preparation for a day at MusicfestNW?

We suggest preparing for the event as follows:

  • Dress in cool, unrestrictive, lightweight clothing
  • Bring sunglasses
  • Lather up in sunscreen and bring some extra in case it’s needed
  • Bring a hat
  • Wear comfy shoes
  • Stay hydrated! Drink water before you get to the event and enjoy the beverage offerings of the many vendors at the festival.

Are kids allowed?

Yes!  MusicfestNW is an all ages event.  Children 8 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.  1 child per adult.

Are there ATMs available if I run low on cash?

Sure. ATMs will be located around the festival grounds.  MusicfestNW will also be taking credit/debit cards at all bars thanks to our friends at Square.

Is the entire VIP section 21+

Yes, you must be 21+ in order to enter the VIP area for any reason.

Will there be food & beverages?

Yes, a selection of food carts as well as beer, wine, water and soft drinks will be available.  You must show ID in order to purchase/consume alcoholic beverages.

What about vegetarian items?

Many food carts will feature a vegetarian option.

Will you have merch for sale?

Festival t-shirts for men and women, a limited edition festival poster, hats, and many other items will be sold at the main merchandise stand. Artist merch will also be available there.

How can I apply for press credentials?

How can my company become a Sponsor?

We love our sponsors!  If your company would like to be a festival sponsor, please email us with as much info as possible about company, as well as your contact info, and one of our sponsorship reps will be in touch soon after!

What happens if the event is cancelled

In the event a single day or multiple days of the festival are cancelled, ticket holders will be notified of cancellation and refund policy.
